    A clear choice? Hallelujah!

Posted by Mark 18 Jun 2007

News report: "David Cameron says Gordon Brown's move to 10 Downing Street gives voters a clear choice at the next election."

Excuse me being a little cyncial about all this, but shouldn't we have already had a "clear choice" all along? What has NuCon actually done to bring NuLab to account for all their failed policies? Is there anything in Cameron's past that suggests the Conservatives will be any more effective in providing what this country needs, an effective Opposition? No, is the answer if you're not sure.

We will soon have the Number 2 in the government become Number 1, and see a shuffling of all the clueless, talentless nonentities into different chairs, and a continuance of the same shambles of a government we've had for ten years. Will the NHS get better? Will farmers get better treatement? Will crime go down? Will education get better? It cannot, not with the same clowns running the show. But Cameron thinks we will have a "clear choice". Where has he been this last decade?

And Europe? What will Cameron actually DO about Blair handing yet more of our Sovereign powers over to that monster, that unelected unaccountable monster that is Europe? The only "clear choice" we're going to have at the next election, Dave my old mate, is where to emigrate to.

A "clear choice"? Fat chance.
